Returns Policy


All items supplied or repaired by us are fully tested and carefully packed before shipping, including the use of anti-static bags/wrapping where applicable. If we receive no communication from you, within 7 days of delivery, regarding any problems with the items, you are deemed to have received the items in full working order and with no problems.

If you wish to return an item for any reason this should be reported to us within 7 days of delivery and the item should be returned, with all packaging and documentation, for assessment/inspection.

We will only authorise the return of an item in the following cases:

Faulty when received

If any items purchased have faults when they are delivered, you should contact us within 7 days to arrange return. Items must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and documentation. We are not responsible for paying carriage costs.

Upon receipt of the returned items they will be inspected and if we are unable to repair or replace the items then the price of the items, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the items were purchased. Carriage costs will also be refunded if the fault was our responsibility.

If any items develop faults within their warranty period, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the terms of our warranty.

Damaged in transit

Under no circumstances do we accept responsibility or liability for damaged items unless you notify the carrier at the time of delivery. If items are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, you should sign the delivery note to the effect that the items have been damaged. In any event, such damage should be reported to us within 7 days. Items must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and documentation. We are not responsible for paying carriage costs.

Upon receipt of the returned items they will be inspected and if we are unable to repair or replace the items then the price of the items, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the items were purchased. Carriage costs will also be refunded if the damage was due to our packing and/or our carrier.

Incorrect item

If you receive items which do not match those ordered, unless accompanied by an explanatory note detailing the changes, stating reasons for the changes and setting out your options, you should contact us within 7 days to arrange collection and return. You will be given the option to have the items replaced with those ordered (if available) or to be refunded through the payment method used when the items were purchased. Refunds and replacements will be issued upon our receipt of the returned items.

We are not responsible for paying carriage costs when returning an item for any reason. Once we have assessed.

Shipping Information

There are various shipping options available to each country. Shipping methods and costs are clearly shown on all quotations.

Our preferred partners for shipping are UPS and DHL. For more details on the shipping options for both companies please visit their websites.

We have several shipping methods available but all of our items are typically shipped within 24 hours. All order quotations will include shipping times and Next Day, Time Specific, Saturday and Emergency Express are all available. Please contact us to discuss your shipping requirements.

Upon the event of your order being shipped, we will provide you with an e-mail notification with all the details you will require.

Express Shipping

In order to minimise the disruption caused by breakdowns, Worldwide Express Shipping is available on all of our products. Our own US and European distribution centres and network of partners ensures that you get the part your need in the fastest time possible.

Arrange Your Own Shipping

Arranging your own shipping is easy, simply contact one of our representatives with details of shipping company, account details and service option and we’ll take care of everything on your behalf. Automation Inventory accept no responsibility or liability for items that are damaged, lost or stolen if you opt to use your own logistics provider.

Local Customs Charges

Yes, it is your full responsibility. Automation Inventory accept no responsibility for and local taxes or charges that occur as a result of the importing of goods into your country or state.

Have Not Recieve Order

On some occasions your ordered part may not be received as expected. There are common reasons for this:

  • Missing or delayed order Items can typically take anything from one to four days from receipt of payment. This is dependent on the chosen shipping option. If you have reason to believe that your order has been lost or is missing, please contact us immediately.
  • Item temporarily out of stock In instances whereby your ordered item becomes temporarily out of stock and we expect to have one available within a reasonable period of time we will process and subsequently complete your order.
  • Item unavailable In situations whereby we regrettably cannot complete your order for any reason, we will immediately issue a refund for processed payments.
  • Payment declined or not received If we cannot process payment for any reason, we will contact you to let you know and ask you to access your account and update your card or bank details as necessary.
